Rapid River

Our Rapid River attraction features circular rafts travelling briskly through turbulent waters that send boats spinning. Guests get to experience a thrilling and treacherous journey through themed zones, that reveal water features that bring this attraction to life. Getting wet is a guarantee!

The channel’s water flow is controlled by pumps positioned at strategic points along the boat’s route, these create zones of spectacular rapids as well as calmer sections of the river. Rafts consist of fibreglass hulls which incorporate the passenger seats on the inside with flotation tyres attached around the outside, ensuring safety and smooth contact when the boat touches either the channel banks or any other obstacles integrated into the ride layout. Circular handrails are positioned in the centre of the raft enabling guests to either simply hold onto them or to turn the entire top section of the raft (Gyroboat option).

The loading/unloading station for guests boarding can be designed either as a “straight through” design or “carousel” that allows the rafts to move continuously through the station while guests disembark and embark.
